It has been an interesting week. We got into contact with a person who we been trying to meet with for a couple of weeks. A person who we were working with dropped us after we set an appointment with him earlier in the day.
I went on exchanges with Elder McArthur on Wednesday which was really fun. We had two lessons that day and I thought they went over pretty well. One lesson was with a person who has a major decision that he has to make. The other was with a son of a member who passed away earlier in the year.
One thing that I was studying this week is "How do we take upon ourselves the name of Christ?" and by extension "What does it mean to take upon ourselves the name of Christ?" We take the name of Christ when we get baptized. As we continue keeping the covenant, or promise, that we made at baptism, we will be blessed with the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. When we stand before Christ at the final judgment, we will see that we have become like our Savior and qualify to spend the rest of eternity with Him and our Heavenly Father.
